To remove the | and get quite the same thing as in the image you provided, switch end = '|' for end = ''
for a in range(1,11):
for b in range(1,11):
if a == b or a == 1 or b == 1:
print(f'{a*b:3d}' , end = '')
else:
print(f' ' , end = '')
print()
