I’m putting together a risk register that automatically calculates the rating based on likelihood and consequence, however the formula just appears in the rating cell rather than the providing a rating.
Here is my formula: =(INDEX(S$4:W$8,MATCH(D2,S$3:W$3,0),MATCH(E2,R$4:R$8,0))

Sorry to ask the obvious, but have you checked the formatting of the cell? Does it happen to be formatted as TEXT?
