No matching export in "node_modules/vue/dist/vue.runtime.esm-bundler.js" for import "default"

I try to start a brand new Vue project and want to add Bootstrap to it.

All is good, but when i try to launch it, i have this error :

node_modules/bootstrap-vue/esm/vue.js:13:7: ERROR: No matching export in node_modules/vue/dist/vue.runtime.esm-bundler.js" for import "default"

i started with npm init vue@latest
after that i done an npm install.
To install bootstrap i made npm install bootstrap bootstrap-vue.
If at this point i made an npm run all is good but when i try to import bootstrap in my project i get the error. Here is how i use it :

BootstrapVue is compatible with Vue 2.6. "With more than 85 components, over 45 available plugins, several directives, and 1000+ icons, BootstrapVue provides one of the most comprehensive implementations of the Bootstrap v4.5 component and grid system available for Vue.js v2.6, complete with extensive and automated WAI-ARIA accessibility markup." You are using Vue 3. Moreover, it is still stuck in Bootstrap 4 and might be incompatible with Vite (which is most likely the case, since it loves to be incompatible with a lot of libraries). Use the bootstrap npm package instead.
