Removing list from a list using Python

I have two lists with indices. I would like to remove indices of L2 from L1 and generate a new list. Is there a command in Python which does that?

L1 = [(0, 0), (0, 5), (0, 6), (0, 7), (1, 0), (1, 2), (1, 3), (1, 4), (1, 5), (1, 6), (2, 0), (2, 1), 
        (2, 2), (2, 3), (2, 4), (2, 5), (2, 6), (3, 2), (3, 4), (3, 5), (4, 0), (4, 1), (4, 3), (4, 4), 
        (4, 5), (5, 0), (5, 1), (5, 3), (5, 4), (5, 5), (6, 1), (6, 2), (6, 3), (6, 4), (6, 5), (6, 6), 
        (7, 0), (7, 2), (7, 3), (7, 4), (7, 5), (7, 6), (7, 7), (7, 9), (8, 0), (8, 1), (8, 2), (8, 3), 
        (8, 4), (8, 6), (8, 7), (8, 8), (8, 9), (9, 0), (9, 2), (9, 3), (9, 5), (9, 6), (9, 8), (9, 9)]

Easiest approach would be

L3 = [i for i in L1 if i not in L2]
